BI-374 - Empowering Mental Health Activities & Raising Awareness about Mental Health with AMOMA

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY EVENT     My BI-374 project was to incorporate mental health awareness info cards in the AMOMA event. I am the president of AMOMA. October 10th, 2023 was Mental Health Day so Alverno Minds Over Matter Association (AMOMA) decided to host an event to provide space for students to take a a little breather. We had knitting, flask painting, and planting activities. Empowering Mental Health Activities with AMOMA Hi Everyone, My name is Michal Irfan. I am a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences (BISC). I have decided to incorporate my project with Alverno Minds Over Matter Organization (AMOMA) for the BI-374 class this fall semester. I am the president of AMOMA where we host events to provide students with activities and space to raise awareness about mental health. October 10th, 2023 is World Mental Health Day and we are planning to host an event with activities like painting, planting, knitting, and kahoot. Meg will be collaborating with us to provide students with counseling resources.  AMOMA brings Alverno students students who value mental health.
